The Poor - 1994 - More Wine Waiter Please FLAC


 

 The Poor are an Australian hard rock band that formed in 1986 as The Poor Boys in Darwin, Northern Territory. Their founding mainstays are Julian "RV" Grynglas on guitar, Anthony "Skenie" Skene on vocals and rhythm guitar, and Matt Whitby on bass guitar. On 13 June 1994 they released a debut album, Who Cares, on the Sony label, which peaked at No. 3 on the ARIA Albums Chart. The lead single, "More Wine Waiter Please", had appeared in the United States in March and reached No. 30 on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. It was a top ten hit in Australia when released there in May.

The Angels - 1995 - Hard Evidence Tour EP CDS FLAC


 

 In April 1995, The Hard Evidence Tour EP was issued to coincide with the Barbed Wire Ball tour, a national tour that also featured The Screaming Jets, The Poor and Who’s Guilty. The band then took a break from recording and touring.

 “Crazytown” is a song by Australian rock musician, Diesel. It is the first single from his album Coathanger Antennae. The song was released in May 2006 and peaked at number 39 in Australia. A live music video was released to promote the single.

Margaret Urlich - 1993 - Burnt Sienna FLAC


 

 "Burnt Sienna" is a song from New Zealand singer Margaret Urlich. The song was released in May 1993 as the fourth and final single from her second studio album, Chameleon Dreams. The song peaked at number 33 on the Australian singles chart.At the ARIA Music Awards of 1994. Urlich was nominated for ARIA Award for Best Female Artist for "Burnt Sienna", but lost to "Friday's Child" by Wendy Matthews. After a two and a half year struggle with cancer, Urlich died on 22 August 2022, at the age of 57, surrounded by her family at her home in the Southern Highlands.
