 "Don't Cry" is a power ballad by the American hard rock band Guns N' Roses, two versions of which were released simultaneously on different albums. The version with the original lyrics is the fourth track on Use Your Illusion I, while the version with the alternate lyrics is the 13th track on Use Your Illusion II. Only the vocal tracks differ, and even then only in the verses; however, in those verses, not only are the words entirely different, but the meter and melody are also slightly different. There is also a third version, officially released only on the single for the song, which was recorded during Appetite for Destruction sessions in 1986.

The song reached the top 10 in many countries, including peaking at number eight on the UK Singles Chart and number 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100. In Ireland, "Don't Cry" became Guns N' Roses' second number-one single, and in Finland, it became the second number-one hit from the Use Your Illusion albums. Additionally, the song topped Portugal's music chart, reached number two in New Zealand and Norway, and peaked within the top five in Australia, Denmark, and Switzerland.

Live From The Jungle is the second EP by American hard rock band Guns N' Roses. It was released in 1988.

The record was released in Japan only and features "Sweet Child O' Mine" from the album Appetite For Destruction plus tracks that had been previously released in 1987 on the 12" singles of "It's So Easy/Mr. Brownstone" and "Welcome To The Jungle". It appears to be self-titled, as no title apart from the band's name appears anywhere on the cover. However, the EP is often called Live from the Jungle, named so because part of the large red text on the album's obi strip reads ライブ・フロム・ザ・ジャングル ガンズ・アンド・ローゼズ ("Raibu furomu za janguru / Ganzu ando rozezu"), meaning "Live from the jungle: Guns N' Roses". This is a reference to the song "Welcome to the Jungle", even though the song itself doesn't appear on the EP. The record has been released in vinyl, cassette, and CD format.

Tracks one, four and five were recorded live at the Marquee Club in London on June 28, 1987. Track two and three sound like live recordings, but are actually studio recordings with overdubbed crowd noise. Track three was originally released on the EP Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide and later on the album G N' R Lies. Track 6 is the studio version from Appetite for Destruction. The cover features the banned Robert Williams artwork also used (but very briefly) for Appetite for Destruction.

In 1987, Guns N' Roses started including the song in their live sets. A live version of the track was initially released on the maxi-single of Welcome to the Jungle the same year. They recorded a studio version in 1990 for the Days of Thunder Soundtrack, which was later slightly modified for the 1991 album Use Your Illusion II (basically discarding the responses in the second verse). Released as the fourth single from the album, it reached #2 on the UK Singles Chart as well as #12 in Australia and #1 in Ireland.

"Sympathy for the Devil" is a song by The Rolling Stones, written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards and credited to Jagger/Richards.
Guns N' Roses recorded a cover in 1994 which reached No.55 on the Billboard Hot 100 the single reached #12 on the Australian Top Forty it was featured in the closing credits of Neil Jordan's film adaptation of Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire and was included on their Greatest Hits album.
