Basically this release was treading water while the band got the necessary money together for the completion of the Road To Rome album. A fabulous A-side with a "big" chorus that still deserves airplay!

DM3 - 1993 - Foolish

laying hot-rodded pop with potent hooks and a healthy supply of rock & roll energy, DM3 were founded by singer, guitarist, and songwriter Dom Mariani, who had already established himself as one of the movers and shakers on the Australian garage rock and power pop scene. Born in Fremantle in Western Australia in 1958, Mariani first achieved nationwide recognition with the band the Stems, whose fusion of garage rock and power pop made them cult heroes during their original run from 1983 to 1987. Shortly after the Stems ran their course, Mariani joined the alternative rock band the Someloves, whose relatively brief career lasted until 1990. In 1992, Mariani returned with a new combo, DM3, in which he handled vocals and guitar alongside Ian Campbell on lead guitar and backing vocals, Toni Italiano (a fellow Someloves alumni) on bass and vocals, and Pascal Bartolone (formerly of the Summer Suns) on drums.

Hunters & Collectors - 1993 - Holy GraiL FLAC

"Holy Grail" is a song performed by the Australian band Hunters & Collectors on their 1992 album Cut. It reached #20 on the Australian Charts. Hunters & Collectors formed in Melbourne in early 1981 originally the band were influenced by the Krautrock genre  featuring strong percussive influences, noisy guitar, and driving bass lines

Horsehead - 1998 - She Fell To Earth

Horsehead were an Australian hard rock band which formed in late 1991 by Scott Kingman on guitar (ex-Cattletruck), Cameron McKenzie on guitar, Andy McLean on vocals (both ex-21 Guns), Mick Vallance on bass guitar (Serious Young Insects, Boom Crash Opera) and Craig Waugh on drums (Uncanny X-Men). They toured nationally and internationally as well as supporting United States group, Metallica, on the Australian leg of their April 1998 tour.The single was released in one of two covers: the first a blurry grey one which actually was a misprint; the second features an angel.

Deni Hines - 1996 - I'm Not In Love

Dohnyale "Deni" Sharon Hines (born 4 September 1970 in Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian solo artist who had moderate chart success in the 1990s in Australia and New Zealand. She is the daughter of Marcia Hines. I'm Not in Love" was a minor hit for Deni reaching #86 on the OZ charts.

Renée Rebecca Geyer (born 11 September 1953, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia) is an Australian singer who has long been regarded as one of the finest exponents of jazz, soul and R&B idioms. Careless is a Paul Kelly song covered by Renee on her "Difficult Woman" album.

Taxiride - 1999 - Get Set

 "Get Set" is the first single by Melbourne band Taxiride. It is the second track on their 1999 debut, Imaginate. The song was recorded in Ocean Way Studios, Los Angeles, and produced by Jack Joseph Puig. This song became a Top Twenty hit in Australia and Japan, but it was not as popular in the United States of America.

Wolfmother - 2005 - Mind's Eye

"Mind's Eye" is a song by Australian hard rock band Wolfmother, featured on their 2005 debut album Wolfmother. When released as the first single from the album, it was well received by critics and reached number twenty nine in the ARIA Charts.
"Mind's Eye" was released as a double A-side CD single in Australia on 16 October 2005. The second featured song is "Woman", which was later released as a separate single in 2006. "The Earth's Rotation Around the Sun", an instrumental, was featured as the single's B-side.

Tina Arena - 1995 - That's the Way a Woman Feels

 Arena co-wrote all of the songs on the original release of the album which was produced by David Tyson. The album spawned six successful singles "Chains", "Sorrento Moon (I Remember)", "Heaven Help My Heart", "Wasn't It Good", "That's the Way a Woman Feels" (charted at #31 in Australia) and the cover version of Maria McKee's song "Show Me Heaven".

Don't Ask nominated Arena for ten ARIA Awards throughout 1995 and 1996.

Iggy Pop - 1990 - Candy

 "Candy" is a song by Iggy Pop from his ninth solo album, Brick by Brick. The song is a duet with Kate Pierson of The B-52's, and was released as the album's second single in September 1990. Jet - 2003 - Rollover DJ

"Rollover DJ" is the second single (except in the United States, where it was the third, after "Cold Hard Bitch") by the Australian rock band Jet, from their debut album Get Born (14 September 2003). It was released in November, two months after the album, and was promoted with two different music videos. It reached the Top 40 on both the ARIA Singles Chart and the UK Singles Chart.

Jon Stevens - 1992 - Jesus Christ Superstar

Stevens was part of three Australian productions of Jesus Christ Superstar, and played the character of Judas twice. On the third occasion, during the 2013 live arena tour, he played the character of Pontius Pilate.

Jon Stevens (born 8 October 1961) is a New Zealand-born Australian singer of Māori descent. Solo artist lead singer of Noiseworks and fronted INXS From 2000 to 2003 after the death of their lead singer Michael Hutchence.

Killing Heidi - 2004 - Calm Down

"Calm Down" is Killing Heidi's eighth single released and the second single from their third self-titled album Killing Heidi. The song was the #1 most added song to Australian radio during the week of its release it made #23 on the charts. Lead singer Ella Hooper said of the song, "it's about having a big crush on someone". The video was shot in the grand open spaces of Broken Hill, New South Wales.

David Campbell - 2003 - Hope

David Joseph Campbell (born 6 August 1973, Adelaide, South Australia) is an Australian singer, stage performer and television presenter. He has performed and recorded many different genres of music from rock to classics. He is the son of rock and soul singer Jimmy Barnes.

Hope was released on the 13 June 2003 and charted #8 (ARIA singles chart)

Neil Finn - 1998 - Sinner

"Sinner" is the debut solo single by New Zealand singer/songwriter, Neil Finn, released in 1998.

An acoustic version of the song was performed live and released on Radio Austin 107.1 KGSR's "Broadcasts Vol. 6" album.

The Dukes - 1992 - Faith

The Dukes were an Australian rock band active from 1991 to 1994. Initially called Sean Kelly and the Iron Dukes, they were formed by Sean Kelly (ex-Models, Absent Friends) on vocals and keyboards; and Geoffrey Stapleton (GANGgajang, Absent Friends) on keyboards and guitar. They were soon joined by Michael Armiger (Paul Kelly and the Coloured Girls, The Go-Betweens) on bass guitar; Michael King (Absent Friends) on guitar and backing vocals; and John Mackay (Absent Friends) on drums and percussion


In 1992 they released the single "Faith" wich reached #28 the Australian singles charts.

Lash - 2001 - Take Me Away

Take Me Away, Lash's first single, was released on 26 March 2001. It reached number 33 in the weekly ARIA chart during April 2001 and received a large amount of radio play. The single version does not include the guitar solo used in the film.
Their song "Take Me Away" was featured on the Freaky Friday soundtrack in 2003, which was performed by the main character's (Lindsay Lohan's) band in the film.

INXS - 1991 - Shining Star

"Shining Star" is a song by Australian popular rock band INXS and was the only single issued from the band's live album, Live Baby Live, released in November 1991. It is the one new studio track recorded for the album and it peaked at No. 21 on the ARIA Singles Chart,[1] No. 27 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming the group's ninth Top 40 single. In the United States, it peaked at No. 4 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart and No. 14 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, but did not appear on the Billboard Hot 100.
