Pop duo Splendid was Angie Hart, formerly of Frente! and her then-husband, Jesse Tobias, who met in August 1996 when Frente! was supporting Alanis Morissette in Canada. Tobias was Morissette's touring guitarist. They performed together as a duo from 1998 to 2004.
