"Real Love" is a song written by John Lennon. After Lennon's death in 1980, the song was recorded with overdubs by the three surviving Beatles in 1995 for release as part of The Beatles Anthology project. It is the last released record of new material credited to the Beatles and to originate and be included on an album.
Lennon made six takes of the song in 1979 and 1980 with "Real Life", a different song that merged with "Real Love". The song was ignored until 1988 when the sixth take was used on the documentary soundtrack Imagine: John Lennon.
"Real Love" was subsequently reworked by the three surviving former members of the Beatles (Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr) in early 1995, an approach also used for another incomplete Lennon track, "Free as a Bird". "Real Love" was released as a Beatles single in 1996 in the United Kingdom, United States and many other countries; it was the opening track on the Beatles' Anthology 2 album. It is their last single by the group to become a top 40 hit in the US.
The song reached number 4 and number 11, respectively, in the UK and US singles charts, and earned a gold record more quickly than a number of the group's other singles. The song was not included on the BBC Radio 1 playlist, prompting criticism from fans and British members of parliament. After the release of "Free as a Bird" and "Real Love", Starr commented: "Recording the new songs didn't feel contrived at all, it felt very natural and it was a lot of fun, but emotional too, at times. But it's the end of the line, really. There's nothing more we can do as the Beatles."

In mid 1987, Natalie Cole recorded "Pink Cadillac" at the suggestion of producer Dennis Lambert. The track was intended for an album release on the Modern label; that project was canceled and Cole's "Pink Cadillac" and another Lambert production: "I Live For Your Love", were picked up by EMI-Manhattan Records to appear on Cole's 1987 album Everlasting. "Pink Cadillac" was released as that album's third single in March 1988, returning Cole to the Top Ten for the first time since 1978 in April 1988 to ascend to a #5 peak - matching Cole's previous Pop chart best with "I've Got Love on My Mind" - that May. Cole's "Pink Cadillac" also reached #9 R&B, #16 A/C and - via a remix by David Cole (no relation) and Robert Clivilles - #1 on Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. According to Cole, "word got back" to her that Bruce Springsteen "thought it was very cool that a woman could [sing "Pink Cadillac"] and it would come out so great".

John and Rick Brewster (along with Doc Neeson) were the nucleus and major songwriters of the legendary Angels, one of Australia’s most successful bands. The guys played rhythm and lead guitar and produced the band’s classic multi-platinum albums.
A few years ago John and Rick started thinking about a break-away project. They were looking to develop new material shaped by their experiences; both as teenagers growing up in Adelaide, and all those years together in and out of the spotlight riding the highs and lows with one of Australia’s most famous bands.
The first recorded sign of what they were up to emerged in 2003 with the release of a limited edition four-track CD ‘Any Day’, recorded live at Balmain’s ‘Unity Hall Hotel’. It showed the Brothers in a state of transition, with covers from Dylan and Ry Cooder, plus two very strong originals that gave an indication of their new direction. Thanks to Klaatu
