"Get Down on It" is a 1982 by American band Kool & the Gang. It was originally released on their Something Special album in 1981. The single was certified Gold by the RIAA. "Get Down on It" was re-recorded and released as the third overall single from Australian singer Peter Andre's second studio album, Natural. The single featured the band Past to Present. The single reached No.1 in New Zealand and No. 5 on the Australian Singles Chart, achieving Gold status there in March 1996.
