Sir Raymond Douglas Davies, CBE born 21 June 1944) is an English singer, songwriter and musician. He was the lead singer, rhythm guitarist and main songwriter for the Kinks, which he led with his younger brother, Dave.In 2005, Davies released Thanksgiving Day, a five-song EP, in the US from his album Other People's Lives.
